Hellcat Paintball News

With the economy in ruins, a world in question and a sport struggling to survive the light of our torch becomes more important than ever. Going into our 5th year as an organization and 4th season of our Competitive Teams we worked vigorously through 2009 to prepare an army that can take podium seats in the 2010 season.

 Surviving the first season of the AZPPL, the rebuilding of our flagship team and the launching of the Ironworks Paintball Academy, we have brought together a new generation of Hellcat paintball athletes and a new generation of Hellcat Leadership who are now tasked with the daunting challenge of victory. They are not to rest until they reach Olympus.

The Hellcat Command Administration has committed our Franchise Team to playing all 4 PSP events and our D4 Teams to playing PSP Phoenix and all 4 AZPPL events.

We fight for our future, for Disruptive Paintball, for our organization and for a better tomorrow. We fight because we believe and know we can make a difference. We fight not for ourselves but for the Hellcat next to us. 

The Hellcat Recreational Army has become a top priority in today’s world. A strong recreational group is necessary to sustain the sport of paintball and provide a place where all paintballers can return to their roots. Why they loved the game in the first place. New recreational director Captain Mike Katz has been chosen by HCA to build a new Hellcat Rec Army.

In closing this year, 2008 was a year of turmoil, crazyness and shenanigans far beyond anything I thought I would encounter in this great endevour. We have proved resiliant and able to carry on despite any hardships. I feel a strength among hellcats today that spartan brothers may have had in ages past. A true dedication to eachother, a true feeling of sacrifice and brotherhood.

We reached out in the darkness and shouted that a league for the state should exist and the darkness shouted back. In time, this organization will be capable of accomplishing any feat. We should be so proud of our noble ways, but we should remember, that we are the fire and none others. We light the way. Our Sacred Belief.

And yet we are still only a few steps from our beginning. The drums of war beat in the distance and today, many brave hellcats answer the call to arms. 2009 will be a good year for fighting a good year to refine our craft and prepare us for the higher divisions.

This year we are re-tooling and prepare for the Xball Format. We will claim a stake in the AZPPL and face new challenges. Day by day, the new members of this organization earn the respect of players around the state, bringing us to new highs as people realize what this organization CAN DO. We are opening the eyes of the nay-sayers and condeming those who act against us as we prove to all that we are the true light. The knights who guard the true religion of paintball.

I am very proud of all of you and proud to call you my brothers. I look forward to 2009 with great optimism. Keep your eyes trained on what comes this way and we will be ready to meet it head on. As Iron sharpens Iron, we fight as one. Hellcats, your time has come. So Say We All.

We have survived our first year of Tournament Teams operations and now enter 2008 veterans of the local scene. With our name known and our teams rising, we take aim at the XPSL this year.

Take a moment to reflect on everything we have been through this year as friends and members of Arizona’s first paintball organization. And though many are not here with us, many have had to leave, have had to move on or have lost there way, those of us who remain, still have a great challenge in store.

 I challenge all Hellcats this year, to make 08 better than 07 and press hard for us to achieve our goals.

We are in the waves of change. As the organization comes into its own and as its teams develop and progress, we stand at what really is just the beginning of many great things to come.  All members HOLD FAST, we are in for some exciting times that will test the true bonds our name carries.  History’s clock is running.

 The FIRE or the passion that guides us is strong with many, and many are new, still to feel its flame. May the fire be with you.
